Dr. Cassandra Brown

Cassie grew up in Kingston, Ontario, before moving to Fredericton New Brunswick to attain her undergraduate degree in Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick. At UNB, Cassie played varsity hockey, club field hockey, and spent a brief period of time on the Varsity wrestling team. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island.  After graduation, Cassie went back to Ontario to take a job as a mixed animal practitioner in Perth, Ontario. Feeling homesick for the Maritimes, Cassie then accepted a position at the Annapolis Animal Hospital, after having spent some time in her fourth year of veterinary school at the clinic, and has been practicing both large and small animal veterinary medicine here since February of 2016. Her veterinary interests include equine preventative medicine, equine dentistry, equine lameness, equine sports medicine, small animal routine care, small animal dentistry and small animal orthopedics. Her hobbies include cooking, knitting, horseback riding, and hiking with her dog Bella.
