Originally from Southwestern Ontario, Adrienne obtained a B.Sc. in biology from the University of Western Ontario and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College. She has been practicing as a clinical veterinarian in Nova Scotia since 2011. Although her primary career is now in regulatory medicine with the federal government, she enjoys seeing patients during her weekend shifts at AAH. Adrienne recently returned to school part-time and is working toward her M.Sc. in One Health, a discipline that explores the connections between animal, human and environmental health. She and her husband Brad have two dogs (Cricket and Bender), three cats (Indy, Lou and Wesley Crusher) and a handsome young horse named Kayce.
